His Majesty, Platinum Perpetual Calendar!

Dear friends and customers, today we will show you three Platinum Perpetual Calendars from our collection. Each of these watches is very different, complex and eye pleasing.

Perpetual Calendar has been a complication, which we always found very fascinating. The idea behind is the practical feature of showing the date, month and year without needing of adjusting it. Here are three great examples of impeccable time pieces.

Enjoy the beauty!

Patek Philippe 3970 Platinum

Introduced in 1986 to replace the mythical ref. 2499, the 3970 has been in production until 2004, in 19 years only about 2000 pieces have been made in all the metals.

Coming with the extract from the archives, confirming the production in 1997, and its subsequent sale in 1998. The watch has an extremely appealing and rare White-Opaline Dial with White Gold ‘Obus’ indexes.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 25820 Platinum

Cased in Platinum, the watch is characterized by the stunning Light Blue Mother of Pearl Dial. Known as MK2, the watch is fitted with the leap year indication. This AP example is extremely rare, only an handful are known at today. The watch is preserved in excellent original condition.

Vacheron Constantin 43032 Skeleton Platinum

Made in limited production of 150 pieces, only 20 were fitted with Blue Sub Dials, and in order to make the dial easier to read white graphics registers.

36mm cased in Platinum, with a spectacular ‘see trough’ dial and movement which is based on the excellent JLS 920 ebauche, the 1120QP caliber is a Vacheron work of art with a magnificent hand, engraved work both on the front and the back, and an impressive hand finishing of all the components.

Three decades, three paths.

The 60’s… Rolex 6239 Daytona Paul Newman Full set

Being one of the most iconic and recognizable watches ever made, the Daytona ‘Paul Newman’ was first introduced in the catalogue as Exotic dial as a possible choice instead of the most traditional black or silver dial for the Daytona 6239 or 6241.

The present watch, which is known as three-color white dial, is the same configuration of the one once owned by Paul Newman himself, and sold in auction with an astonishing result.

It has been conserved in exceptional condition, the case has never been polished, the dial remains extremely bright and crisp, the lumes are all intact and have turned to a stunning cream tone.

A watch for any serious collector.

The 70’s… Rolex 5513/5517 Submariner

From the 70’s (1974) is this beautiful and rare UK Military assigned Rolex Submariner double reference 5513/5517. Made for the British Royal Navy, the double ref is one of the most rare version of the UK Military assigned Submariners.

Each component of the watch has been exclusively made for this reference, as for the bezel insert, the fixed bar case, special hands and assigned case back. Each component is still present and in beautiful original condition.

The 80’s… Rolex 18039 Day Date

From the 80’s (1986) we have a Rolex Day Date 18039 in White Gold with factory Birch Wood Dial, a stunning example of Rolex creativity and craftsmanship. More often found on Yellow Gold, Wood Dials for White Gold are extremely rare and very appealing.
