Made in circa 1960, first two series of 2998 are recognizable from the 1000 Based Bezel, and rarely by the Lollipop Chronograph hand.
In particular, the watch is enhanced by a stunning ‘Tropical’ Dial which turned to a wonderful even tone of Brown, the luminous markers have aged graciously to Dark Yellow.
Powered by the iconic 321 manual winding movement, the 2998/2 is one of the most iconic Speedmaster ever made.
