The ref. 6241 has been introduced in 1965, two years after the first Daytona 6239. The watch is characterized by the Black Acrylic Bezel, a feature which had great success being still in production until the end of the manual winding Daytonas in various references.
The 6241 has been produced only until 1969, the 14K Yellow Gold has been made for the US market only in an extremely low production, is estimated that about only 500 pieces have been ever made. The watch with its 2.1 m serial number has been made in 1969, the original and sought after Black Dial with contrasting Golden Registers has remained in exceptional condition as the case, showing thick and sharp lungs. The watch is also featuring the correct and rare MK1 Bezel. The matching 14K Yellow Gold Bracelet has been made for the US market as from the stamp.
