During the 60’s and 70’s the Peruvian Air Force commissioned to Rolex a batch of watches, from different models of the catalogue, for their soldiers. Adorned with the engraved text ‘Fuerza Aerea del Perù’ and the assignation number outside the caseback, the serial number reported inside it.
Being a Military assigned watch is extremely rare, not to say unique. To find an example as this 6265 which is preserved in astonishing condition, almost unworn. The Case retains the original finish, the Bracelet has no stretch. Dial has all the intact lume plots that have turned to a stunning Cream tone. The engraving are still filled with factory black ink showing that the watch has hardly ever been worn.
